Our daughter Madeleine was abducted on 3rd May 2007 in Praia da Luz, Portugal, 9 days before her 4th birthday. She was taken from our holiday apartment where she was sleeping with her younger brother and sister whilst we were dining 50 yards away. Despite a massive investigation led by the Portuguese police and supported by the British police, we still do not know who has taken her, why she was taken or where she is.

Madeleine is a beautiful little person. She was a very happy and much loved little girl. We believe there is a very good chance that Madeleine is still alive. She deserves the love and security of her family. She needs to be back home with her mummy and daddy, brother and sister. Please keep Madeleine in your thoughts and prayers. I have never once doubted that Kate & Gerry had anything to do with their daughter`s disappearance and still stand by that unless evidence proves otherwise, so as they say "innocent until proven guilty".

I am the mother, of two little girls 5 & 8 the Abduction of Madeleine has truly affected our family. Since Madeleine was taken, Awareness of Similar Stranger Abductions have been Highlighted, all thanks to Madeleine's Campaign there is now a lot more Awareness of Missing & Exploited Children.

Code Madeleine was set up, to Help others that could one day find themselves in a Similar situation.

Kate & Gerry continue to be Criticized, for not Crumbling in front of those that still cant see the bigger picture.

Madeleine's Campaign is not only trying to Highlight the Abduction of Madeleine. It is changing Laws, helping other families and trying to make a stand by Saying Dont You Forget About Me.

In these Sad times, Hope and Prayers are Always Needed...

Former Scots Guard Nicholas Wolff, 53, said Hewlett touched him and other teenagers in the 1970s. The Falklands veteran said Hewlett lured him to his room and told him: "I want you to put a kilt on." Mr Wolff added: "I said no but he threatened to have me cleaning toilets. He put his hand up the kilt to adjust it, and touched me between the legs." Meanwhile Hewlett's daughter Gina, 41, told how she thought he was dead. Gina of Telford, Shrops, said: "We didn't know if he was dead or alive but we don't really care."
	JANETMARIEJAMES (1 week ago) It continued when there are concrete facts, that the magistrates in charge of the case consider relevant or credible, the case will be reopened. The Attorney General did, however, confirm it was paying full attention to all signs that show up. Reports in British newspaper the Daily Mail told of how ex-solider Hewlett had a past of known attacks carried out on young girls and which dated back to 1972. That year he was sent to prison for abusing a 12-year-old girl.
	JANETMARIEJAMES (1 week ago) Portugals Attorney General has this week voiced its opinion that recent reports about British paedophile Raymond Hewlett, who was embroiled in the Madeleine McCann after it emerged the former convict had been staying in the Algarve at the time of her disappearance, were not strong enough to re-open the case. Following reports in the UKs press that branded 64-year-old Hewlett as suspicious for being in the Algarve region at the time of Madeleine McCanns disappearance, Portugals Attorney General has said none of the reports offered solid facts that justified re-launching the investigation. At the time of then three-year-old Madeleine McCanns disappearance from an apartment in the Praia da Luz Ocean Club resort, Hewlett was staying in Tavira, Eastern Algarve, around an hours drive from where the McCann family were lodged. In a statement the Attorney Generals Office made clear speculation, opinions or commentary is not enough to re-open the investigation.
	JANETMARIEJAMES (1 week ago) Yeremi's disappearance was dubbed the "Spanish Maddie" by the nation's press and the boys mother Ithaisa Suarez, 24, revealed Spanish cops has contact with Portuguese police probing Maddie's abduction. She wrote to Maddie's mum Kate, of Rothley, Leics. and the two of them have stayed in touch. Kate and husband Gerry have included information about the Yeremi case on their "Find Madeleine" website. It is believed the Maddie detectives have asked bosses at the jail where the new suspect is being held if they can quiz him.
	JANETMARIEJAMES (1 week ago) He was jailed for eight years in Britain in the 1990's for drugging and raping children aged between 11 and 15, but he went on the run and skipped the country after being released on parole- And he was a free man when Yeremi and Maddie - aged 3 at the time - disappeared. The private detectives hunting Maddie put him on the "hit list" of suspects after learning he was being trailed by the Spanish cops. A source said: "The fact he is a paedophile wanted for questioning in the Vargas case makes him a person of interest' to the Maddie team. "His background and where he was living at the time Maddie vanished means he has been identified as one of around seven suspects they feel should be urgently interviewed" CONT.
	JANETMARIEJAMES (1 week ago) A Murder suspect due to be quizzed by detectives hunting Madeleine McCann is a convicted paedophile being chased over another abduction. Spanish police want to question the man over the disappearance of a boy of seven. Little Yeremi Vargas vanished in 2007 just eight weeks before Maddie was snatched from her family's holiday flat in Portugal. He was playing outside his home in the Canary Islands. The new suspect, a middle-aged man, was living in Europe at the time under an assumed name. He is currently on remand in a British prison. He is due to be tried over the alleged murder of a woman and is said to be facing other allegations linked to child abuse. CONT.

	JANETMARIEJAMES (1 week ago) On Tuesday evening, we took part in the Rothley & Soar Valley Lions 10K road race here in the village. Twenty of us (family and friends) wore our Madeleine t-shirts and that together with cheers of encouragement from spectators, made it all worthwhile. It was a really enjoyable evening and a fantastically well-supported event. We're already talking about next years run! Hopefully we wont be needing to wear our t-shirts for that one.
	JANETMARIEJAMES (1 week ago) On a more positive note, we have recently been planning a summer campaign in the hope that holiday-makers, travel companies and transport agencies will help us again in our search for Madeleine. So far, things are looking promising and we will soon have 'travel packs' available via the website for anyone willing to help in this way. We greatly appreciate the continued help and support we are receiving from the general public. It's incredibly reassuring and uplifting that over two years down the line so many people still want to help. Without doubt, it will increase our chance of finding Madeleine. cont.
