Prog-folk. Founded by Donovan in 1965, continued on in Dylan's electric period, picked up by the Beatles for Rubber Soul, formed the backbone of the Kinks songbook, carried through the seventies by Pink Floyd in Meddle and Obscured by Clouds and Led Zeppelin in Led Zeppelin III. Then killed by that damn Matchstalk Men and Matchstalk Cats and Dogs song. Now it's back in all it's original glory. Enoy...The Meek.
