they aren't set up to fire projectiles. It's just a cloud. But, the reason you don' t see them any more is because it's not very difficult to make a threaded extension to accept a .22 long cartridge.

no safety - but it's really not needed - the blades don't come out with much force. I meant to open one against my arm in the video to demonstrate this, but I forgot. Also, the buttons on these straight-lines takes enough force that they're really not going to open by mistake
