I am an adopted Korean, and this is my story. This isn't just about me though, it's about everyone and anyone who is adopted, knows an adopted person, or had the heart to take in an adopted child.

Leave me any type of feedback, so I can get a better understand of your life and experience growing up as/with an adopted child.

I am a father of an adopted daughter from China. My wife and I are also ethnic chinese. Our daughter is biilingual in chinese and english. So would it help you if you learned the language of your birth to get closer to with who you are? Yes, she know she's adopted.

Hi Chris- My name is Jennifer. My husband and I are going through our home study and classes to be certified to foster adopt. We are white and while we are very non-racist and open to transracial adoption, we have struggled to figure out if it is the right thing to do for the child. Complicating issues is that we have a biological daughter and worry about stress in the adoptee regarding feeling left out and trying to find their identity in regard to race. Hearing your vlogs has been incredibly interesting and insightful. We still don't know what is going to happen, and hope it will become more clear to us as we move through the process. Thank you for your candid honesty. P.S. We happen to live in Sacramento where you started your adoption journey! :-)

Hi Chris,
My husband and I are currently in the process to adopt our first child from South Korea. I've really enjoyed listening to your perspective and hearing your thoughts and experiences growing up. Thanks for sharing. We want to be the best parents we can be, and I'm so thankful that you're sharing your story because it gives us insight into better understanding the feelings our child will experience.
