About Jade & Artists Dance Troupe
Jade & Artists Dance Troupe was founded in 1997. With the goal to combine traditions in contemporary context, we have endeavored to present the beauty of body movements in a novel way. Tenderness and fineness of the orient are shown through modern dance technique, which has developed into a new dance form.
The neo-classical productions of Jade & Artists include "Catch of the Glimpses"(2004), "Catch of the Glimpses 2"(2005), "Echoes from Tun--Hwang"(2006), "Transform"(2007) and "Simplicity Refound"(2007). In the meantime, we've been invited to give performances overseas. In 2000 and 2001, we went to Germany, France and Belgium, and Paraguay in 2003. We were back to Paraguay to give 3 performances again in 2007. Our work has been accepted and confirmed internationally.
In addition to new creations, we also put efforts in introducing dance to the general republic. We have completed more than 30 interactive lecture-workshops in the past four years. Our devotions to experimenting with new ideas never stop. Sincerely invite you to join us!
