You missed a few historical notes.

For example, the Jewish community in Sana'a were expelled to the Tihamah desert in 1679 and their property was stolen. 3/4 of that community died of hunger and disease before being allowed to return. The property, off course, was not returned.

This is just one example of many that illustrate that your version of "muslims and jews lived peacefully toghether" is incorrect... putting it mildly.

Well, there's currently no reason to go back into Lebanon. Yes, the Lebanese are not exactly respecting the 1701 treaty signed at the end of the war, but as long as Hezbollah doesn't do cross border operations to kill Israelis then we have no special reason to respond to them.

Btw, I don't think that 1200 Lebanese and 250 Israeli casualties are anything to laugh at. These people have families.

Souria is a beautiful country. There is unity among the people and religions (Christianity and Muslim), peace, hospitality, and love. Actually if it wasn't for Bashar El Assad and His father Hafez, this would not be in the country. There would be chaos, but thank God we were blessed with people such as them whom are understanding to the Christians very much and to the Muslims. We are treated as equals. Your safe in the streets of Syria. If any one tells you anything other than either they are not Syrian or they know nothing about it. Finally, I don't have to talk so well bout by country and president cuz I dont live in Syria, but I love my country and I give all my respect to our President Dr. Bashar. Hey and hopefully peace will be also among Syria and Israel, and hopefully everyone gets what is rightfully theirs in peace. Thank God though that there isnt fire going on between the two. And hopefully one day you'll get to visit Syria and see how great it is. Take care.
