Biographical Sketch
At the age of 7, Ivan began studying piano. After discovering jazz, at 14, he attended the National Music School where his gifts as an improviser quickly became evident. In this period, he used to hang out in jazz clubs and began sitting in at various jam sessions. At the age of 16, Ivan made his debut on the jazz scene at the Sofia International Jazz Meeting. The prestigious European Jazz Forum magazine came up with an article on his performance. At that time Ivan began his interest in contemporary music and after graduating, he studied composition at the National Academy of Music with prominent Bulgarian composers. While at the Academy, he was awarded with the special UBC's scholarship for composition. His works have been performed, recorded and published in Bulgaria, France, Japan and Korea. Nowadays Ivan is active as a jazz pianist and arranger. He plays at jazz venues and works as a studio musician. Whether it's cool jazz, ballads or party music, Ivan always gives an amazing performance.

thank you very much for the comment.
George Carlin was definitely much more than just a comic. by comedy is king in the history of spoken words.
if we can not laugh on this planet... oh that would be worse than if there was no music.

very much appreciate your comment!
cheers back at you from japan,
