IRCT

The International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT) is an independent, non-profit international health professional organisation that promotes and supports the rehabilitation of torture survivors and works for the prevention of torture worldwide.

The IRCT strives to promote a world that values and accepts shared responsibility for the eradication of torture.

The IRCT embraces today 136 rehabilitation centres and programmes from 71 countries, representing an international movement against torture and for survivors of torture.

The IRCT also works in partnership with governments, human rights, health professional and intergovernmental organisations.
