Stitch This! is an event similar to the TV show Project Runway that will be held at the Iowa State Fair on August 21-22, 2009.
Iowa Youth completing grades 9-12 during 2009 are eligible to compete in groups of 4 for this event. Youth must submit a two-part application to apply. One is a written application and the other is a video application about why they want to participate.
Nine teams will be selected to compete in a two-day competition where they will deconstruct a wedding dress and reconstruct it into another wearable garment.
