The purpose of this vlog is to make the invisible visible. I hope these people and their stories connect with you and don't let go. I hope their conversations with me will start a conversation in your circle of friends.

After you get to know someone by watching their story, please pause for a few moments and write your thoughts. By keeping this dialog open we can help a forgotten people.

The invisible guy didn't intend to become homeless. I didn't plan on living on the street. Everyone on on the streets has their own story, some made bad decisions, others were victims, but none of them deserve what they have been left with, and it is a reflection of our own society that we just leave them there.

Please always remember, the homeless people you'll ignore today were much like you not so long ago.

I heard you on the radio. That's how I found your channel. I've often wondered if I wouldn't end up homeless. Work is scarce here in California. Keep up the good work.

I have just watched Kathy's story. It staggers me that in Austin, Texas - in fact, anywhere - that it would be a crime to ask for help. And she didn't even do that. It is a horrifying indictment on our society that we should criminalise people for having experienced a series of misfortunes that results in them being homeless, hungry, hopeless and lonely. But the greatest indictment is the invisibility we force upon them. I shall never again look at another homeless person in the same way as I did, before I found these videos.

Your interviews are not only beneficial to those who are homeless, but a little reminder to us all that humans need more than just money to live a life of real worth - we need compassion for others and the willingness to set aside our fears in favor of helping others.

I've seen the same guy panhandling on the same freeway exiit for 6 years. It makes me wish I knew what his story is. But the god's honest truth is that I'm afraid to talk to him. I think this is the biggest issue with the homeless. Many of us can't tell which are really needy and which are just manipulating the system. Many of these stories made my cry and I wish I could give directly to those people. But at the same time, I've been conned more than once and sadly, it's the dishonest people who make it difficult for the honest people.

beautiful channel.. i look forward to listening to all of these stories.. invisibility is central to what i make video about as well.. thank you for doing this.. 20 years ago i lived in chicago and as a 16/17 year old i would take the train into the city often for photography trips.. some of the most revealing conversations i have ever had were with some of the homeless persons i encountered.. these conversations usually started when someone asked for a cigarette... the very first conversation was with a young woman with a college degree.. so right from then i knew it could happen to anyone.. thanks again.. what you are doing is very meaningful and vital.
