The Minnesota Free Market Institute hosted an event at Bethel University in St. Paul on Wednesday evening. Keynote speaker Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, gave a scathing and lengthy presentation, complete with detailed charts, graphs, facts, and figures which culminated in the utter decimation of both the pop culture concept of global warming and the credible threat of any significant anthropomorphic climate change.
"At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed. Your president will sign it. Most of the third world countries will sign it, because they think theyre going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regime from the European Union will rubber stamp it. Virtually nobody wont sign it.
I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word government actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfication of what is called, coyly, climate debt because weve been burning CO2 and they havent. Weve been screwing up the climate and they havent. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement.
How many of you think that the word election or democracy or vote or ballot occurs anywhere in the 200 pages of that treaty? Quite right, it doesnt appear once. So, at last, the communists who piled out of the Berlin Wall and into the environmental movement, who took over Greenpeace so that my friends who funded it left within a year, because [the communists] captured it Now the apotheosis as at hand. They are about to impose a communist world government on the world. You have a president who has very strong sympathies with that point of view. Hes going to sign it. Hell sign anything. Hes a Nobel Peace Prize [winner]; of course hell sign it.
And the trouble is this; if that treaty is signed, if your Constitution says that it takes precedence over your Constitution (sic), and you cant resign from that treaty unless you get agreement from all the other state parties And because youll be the biggest paying country, theyre not going to let you out of it.
So, thank you, America. You were the beacon of freedom to the world. It is a privilege merely to stand on this soil of freedom while it is still free. But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your humanity away forever. And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is. Ive read the treaty. Ive seen this stuff about [world] government and climate debt and enforcement. They are going to do this to you whether you like it or not.
But I think it is here, here in your great nation, which I so love and I so admire it is here that perhaps, at this eleventh hour, at the fifty-ninth minute and fifty-ninth second, you will rise up and you will stop your president from signing that dreadful treaty, that purposeless treaty. For there is no problem with climate and, even if there were, an economic treaty does nothing to [help] it."

Hardin is safe for now. There will be no black Mercedes SUVs with decals resembling the Serbian-Montenegro national crest. There will also, for now, be no flu resistors imprisoned in the 400 plus bed prison that was built for "no reason".
Yes all is well in Harding Montana for now, but who knows what the future may bring. That is the real question. And as it always is with the future, no one knows what it will bring; we can only speculate about it. But of course that is what conspiracy theorists love about the not knowing. They play on ignorance and the lack of answers. That is why Glenn Beck did this report; it was to give us answers to fill in the blank, so as a conspiracy nut would not have to do it for us.

Shirley Adams is the wife of Ron Adams, the mayor of Hardin, Montana, and answered questions for this article about the privatizing of the Hardin police. Shirley said that no such thing had occurred and that the Big Horn County Sheriff Lawrence Pete Big Hair and his deputies are still patrolling their city of about 3,500 residents, a town about 45 miles southeast of Billings.
I informed her that the Internet community and talk radio were rife with reports that this private security force is already patrolling their town and that they had stopped several people in town yesterday. Those same reports also stated that they were building some type of heavy duty gates at the entrances into town. No way is that happening, she said, I would know since I drive around town every day and would have noticed anything out of place She said that her husband had been fielding a lot of calls from inquiring reporters and others peppering him with questions about the American Police Force contract.
I then called the B & H Casino, located next to the off ramp of the I-90 into Hardin, and received a friendly greeting from Danielle. She also indicated that no heavy duty gate was being installed next to the highway into town. Danielle said that she is a long time Hardinite and would know if something untoward was going on. Next I called the gas station across the street from the casino and spoke to D, who did not want his name used for direct quotation in this article. D indicated that he had not seen any unusual activity in town and confirmed that no heavy duty gate was being installed next to their gas station.
Now if this whole thing is starting to sound like the scene out of a movie or maybe even the sequel to Mel Brooks movie Blazing Saddles you may be wrong. We did confirm that the Town of Hardin, Montana held a news conference conducted by Becky Shay, the spokesperson for the American Police Force, last Saturday. They had shown up earlier in the week with three darkened out Mercedes SUVs with Hardin Police decals on their side doors. She quickly debunked the fact that they were taking over policing the town and the decals have been removed. The decals included a crest that closely resembles the Serbian-Montenegro national crest making the vehicles look even more official. One of the APF principals, Michael Hilton, was born in Montenegro and has been using the vehicles as a good faith symbol in dealing with Hardin and Two Rivers Authority officials. Michael indicated that they are to be used at the new facility located at 1015 N. Lessard Avenue in Hardin, Montana.
The Associated Press reported:
The lead public figure for American Police Force, Michael Hilton, said more than 200 employees would be sought for the jail and a proposed military and law enforcement training center.
Hilton also said he planned a helicopter tour of the region in coming days to look at real estate for a planned tactical military training ground. He said 5,000 to 10,000 acres were needed to complement the training center, a $17 million project.
The private security angle came up in April 2009 when the Two Rivers Authority and the Hardin City Council started looking into the possibility of housing enemy combatants, currently detained in Guantanamo Bay (akaGitmo), Cuba, in their recently completed but still sitting empty detention center. In May 2009 a business called the American Police Force (APF) registered their domain name as americanpolicegroup.com. The next thing APF is making promises to the City of Hardin and the Two Rivers Authority in order to finalize the contract to lease the private jail as well as build a police training facility and includes taking over policing their town.

They have basically done away with the local sheriff dept and brought in a blackwater contracted
police force that is mostly staffed with INTERNATIONAL police. This is the model of what is going to take place in many other cities before the major crackdown occurs.
BILLINGS - The jail in Hardin has been empty for about two years, but on September 4th officials with the Two Rivers Authority, the economic development agency that paid for the facility, signed a contract with a private police firm called American Police Force to fill the jail.
"I think it's a great situation," said Al Peterson the Vice President of Two Rivers Authority. "I have found these people to be wonderful community partners."
The company's website states the U.S. government is their biggest client, but an Associated Press search of two comprehensive federal government contractor databases turned up no record of American Police Force.
Several media agencies have identified inconsistencies with the company. For instance their website states they have "years of experience," but a company spokesman said the corporation was formed this February. They also list an address to a building in Washington D.C., but no one at that address has ever heard of them.
"At this point that does not concern me." Peterson said. "I've been in contact with enough members of the A.P.F. and their representatives."
A company spokesman who would only identify himself as Captain Michael said they have never had experience housing prisoners and the jail was not the biggest attraction in Hardin.
"We don't really want to get into the prison business," he said. "We were actually interested more in the training center."
While he can't specify exactly what they will be training for, the company investigates everything from missing persons to insurance fraud to cheating spouses.
Peterson said they're excited to have a military presence in a town without a police force. A.P.F. has already put down what Captain Michael calls a "substantial amount of money."
They'll be in Hardin next week and start filling about 250 positions, 80% of which will be hired locally.
"We will bring the city of Hardin back on their feet," Michael said.
Two Rivers Authority officials will present the information at a city council meeting Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. in Hardin, but they do have a signed contract and do not need council approval.
