The story of Hurricann Carter really pushed me to begin my research to solve my brother's henious murder case. And reading the case of Alan Newton from New York City, who was exonerated in 2006, after speing 20 years in prison, is a rewarding feeling for his family and for the efforts Innocence Project has done in all the cases. If anyone could help me on how to go about researching or what organizations could be of help in solving my brother's murder case, I will be very appreciated. He was murdered on April 17th 1987 on Good Friday in Brooklyn. He was set-up and ambushed in the basement of the building his girlfriend lived. He was stabed over 20 times with a large knife and screw-driver, which indicated that there were two people involved. After a few months the investigation went cold and ignored. My older brother tried a few times with the same detective but never could do anything. Its 22 years ago and I think is time to solve this murder case. Any advise will be appreciated.

It sickens me that a Judge may overturn evidence and dna. There is something wrong with the law.
I am not black, although i would be proud to be, but why are there so many that do not get proper justice, afterall we have more evidence nowadays. Can anyone tell me what is the position with Edward Lee Elmore at this time. |

My heart feels so happy....as it should whenever justice prevails.....the Innocence Project has & continues to give life back to those that had it stolen by injustice.....Thank you so much for your persistence in coming to these innocent people's rescue.

Theres so many causes to donate too. But I donate to this organization. I was a crime victim and the criminal got away with it. I decided to volunteer as soon as my recovery and school is done. My only hope is that they will receive a glowing crown in heaven. It is a horrifying thing to have to go through.
