Have you heard that blasphemy will soon be officially illegal in Ireland?Under Article 40 of the Irish Constitution, the publication or utterance of blasphemous, seditious, or indecent matter is a criminal offence. But Irish parliamentarians are finally getting round to formulating legislation that it seems certain will pass by a majority in Dail Eireann (the lower house).
