So Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron of The way of the Master have again chosen to let their actions speak to the worth of character that their religion instills. In their latest publicity stunt they have decided to take a book written 150 years ago by Charles Darwin and put in the front a 50 page introduction, a significant portion of which is devoted to bad mouthing the dead. Yup thats right, apparently dissing the dead is now fair game if you are a creationist. Unfortunately they havent realized that this is utterly independent of whether evolution is correct or not. The only take home message just how cheap creationists are willing to go to attack science they dont understand. To my mind there is only one appropriate response, and thats to basically call them on their socially reprehensible behavior:- maybe we need a modified bible to explain simple decency and logic to such folk. So far, Ray, Kirk, Ken Ham n co have shown a masterly reluctance to present a scientific case, and claim that this is due to some persecution. Well okays fellas, you are formally invited to present your case on one of the more open and public forums of our time. Here on youtube. La qualification de l'Algérie au Mondial 2010 après avoir battu l'Egypte (1-0), hier soir en match d'appui à Khartoum (Soudan), a été saluée comme la victoire de tout le peuple algérien par les journaux algériens. «Les Algériens ont passé une nuit blanche en fêtant la qualification au Mondial», a rapporté El Khabar, évoquant une autre victoire du peuple algérien sur la hogra (injustice) après le «caillassage de l'équipe nationale jeudi au Caire par des supporters égyptiens». «Viva l'Algérie !» a titré en Une le quotidien El Watan (privé, francophone) qui a relevé «la belle revanche algérienne» après les incidents lors du match entre les deux équipes samedi au Caire. «Pleure Egypte, l'Algérie au pays de Mandela», a titré en Une le quotidien La Tribune (privé). Pour le quotidien arabophone Echourouk (privé), «l'Algérie a battu l'Egypte sur tous les plans sportif et médiatique». Le bus de l'équipe algerienne a été attaqué et filmé de l'interieur et Témoignagesde YAHIA et MONSOURI SUR RMC L'émission de louis attaque. Les pierres ont atteint Haliche à la tête, Saifi à la main et d'autres joueurs blessés. Des algériens venus de Montréal agressés par la police égyptienne même. La situation est très grave.
