Woot! [totally my catchphrase] Its Cartoon KAT-TUN time! Are you ready?! Yes! As you can plainly...er...read, I'm in a much higher tension than I was last week for reasons even unknown to me. First of all, I want to apologise for the vagueness of my translations last week; I have recently gone back and added more details here and there to some conversations and whatnot, and this is something I will continue to do for all past episodes whenever I have free time. Since I sometimes miss something someone said that I actually understood, which is sad. That having been said, I do not want anyone to think that Im guaranteeing 100% accuracy. I translate strictly by ear, which means sometimes I may mistake the connotation of a word to its sentence. ALL RIGHT, so thats out of the way. Lets move on with this weeks Cartoon KAT-TUN. Today is Jins high tension and very expressive- I mean Outdoor okite with our favourite female J-comedians Morisaanchu~! Kame starts the talk off explaining that winter is fast coming and recently its been getting colder. He asks Ueda what counter measures he has been taking against the cold. Ueda: Honestly, I haven't taken any counter measures *looks regretful* as you can see, I'm wearing sandals. Lol. It's not even his episode and he's already got the random out. Yes, so as Nakamaru is explaining, today is outdoor camping okite, but Autumn version (since episode 110 featured a summer-like mountain-ish version) And it starts... Nakamaru is proudly announcing their itinerary for today and Jin, hungry for some tsukkomi, starts clapping. Nakamaru: *looks resigned* All right....yes....your applause came to fast... Jin: *all-smiles* Is today going to be just the three of us? Nakamaru: Actually, we're meeting with three more people who will be our female supporters. Jin: *happy* Female supporters...(Yeah, we know what you're thinking) The atmosphere in the van immediately becomes rather "fluffy" as Jin put delicately. They all lean around the seats to see who it is that will be their female supporters. Very soon Morisaanchu becomes visible in all live-colour and excitement. Jin: Anoo~ *to the driver* Can you please drive on? *pleading look* lol! Judging from the cut, that probably went on far longer than we can imagine. Well, Nakamaru doesn't understand why Morisaanchu is supporting them for outdoor okite since it hardly fits their image (referring to both incidents with them being inside a house at a dinner table) Oshima: *indignant* Why? Why has your excitement level come down? TAN (kat-tun): It isn't like that at all... Oshima: Anyway, we're not the ones going to teach you today. There is actually a sensei arranged for this. It's all the way at Sagami Lake. Let's hurry and go Maru: When you say 'at Sagami Lake'...the meaning isn't clear to me. (Yeah, I don't get it either) Road-trip time! Oshima: Here at this place, let's play a very fun game... Maru: You mean sharing our driving CDs, right? Oshima: Exactly. Everyone: *various expressions of excitement* Oshima: So everyone will each have a turn to present their favourite driving song. Firstly, let's start with Taguchi. - Me: *nervous for Taguchi for some reason* Taguchi: My driving music is...a bit unique, you could say. *mainstream techno music plays* Me: *starts to cry* You see, I've always been convinced that deep deep deep down Taguchi was the most manly...stupid of me, I know.... His favourite music to play while driving happens to be by Perfume. A three member (airheaded imo) female techno group. Well, what can you say really....there's no accounting for taste in the end. Lol, watch how he probably dances when he's alone. Yeah, I think we all had the same reaction as Jin. Basically a big, "lolwhut?" Oshima: *incredulous* KAT-TUN listens to PERFUME?? Everyone: LOL! Taguchi: *techno-dance* It raises the tension immediately Everyone: *has to admit* Well, I guess when you hear this kind of music and the "driver" starts dancing like that, I'd admit to getting a little bit lolled up. So it's established that after his explanation, the music is acceptable. Murakami: Since it's surprising, it's fun, and I'd look forward to such a driving trip. Next up is Oshima! Oshima: When my dad would drive us places, he'd always play this song. I've always remembered. *low-beat calm song plays* I think Oshima's is not bad for a road trip. Third is Nakamaru! JUDY AND MARY!! This band is of the same genre as the more well-known PUFFY. Excellent taste, I'd say. Everyone: *singing happily* Maru: *bobbing his head; gloomy look* Lol, what's wrong with Maru today...:( Skipping the others, next up will be Jin in Part 2. Believe me, this is gonna be something you ABSOLUTELY should see... See you in a few!
