Sieneke wint Nationaal Songfestival Uitgegeven: 7 februari 2010 22:48 * Laatst gewijzigd: 7 februari 2010 22:58 BAARN - Sieneke vertegenwoordigt Nederland in mei op het Eurovisiesongfestival in Oslo. De zangeres won zondagavond het Nationaal Songfestival dat live te zien was bij de TROS op Nederland 1. Tijdens het liedjesevenement brachten vijf relatief onbekende, beginnende acts een eigen versie van het nummer Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie), dat Pierre Kartner op verzoek van de TROS schreef voor het Songfestival. De omroep, die de organisatie van het festival overnam van de NOS, vroeg vijf bekende sterren een eigen protegé naar voren te schuiven. Weber Marianne Weber zette zangeres Sieneke (17) in, Frans Bauer presenteerde zijn meidengroep Loekz, Marlous (21) was de troef van Corry Konings, Grad Damen geloofde in de winst voor Vinzzent (33) en Albert West hoopte dat Peggy Mays (20) namens Nederland zou afreizen naar Oslo. Een vakjury bestaande uit Daniël Dekker, George Baker, Tatjana Simic en Johnny Logan koos zondag samen met het studiopubliek en Pierre Kartner de winnaar. Twee jurystemmen gingen naar Loekz en twee naar Sieneke. Studiogasten De meesten van de duizend studiogasten gaven de voorkeur aan Vinzzent. De mening van de schrijver van het nummer moest er aan te pas komen om uitsluitsel te geven. Na een aantal minuten twijfel hakte Kartner de knoop door en gaf zijn stem aan de 17-jarige Nijmeegse Sieneke. De presentatie van het Nationaal Songfestival was in handen van Yolanthe Cabau van Kasbergen. Oslo De finale van het Eurovisiesongfestival heeft - na twee halve finales op 25 en 27 mei - plaats op zaterdag 29 mei in de Noorse hoofdstad Oslo. Per halve finale nemen zeventien landen het tegen elkaar op en gaan de tien acts met de meeste stemmen van de Europese televisiekijkers door naar de finale. Vorig jaar wisten De Toppers met het nummer Shine in Moskou niet genoeg stemmen te behalen voor een finaleplaats. Sieneke komt in de tweede halve finale, op 27 mei, uit tegen de acts van onder meer Zwitserland, Litouwen, Zweden, Oekraïne, Denemarken, Azerbeidzjan, Georgië, Turkije, Ierland, Slovenië, Bulgarije, Kroatië en Cyprus. TROS-presentator Daniël Dekker en Songfestivalkenner Cornald Maas verzorgen tijdens de live-uitzendingen van de halve finales en de finale het Nederlandse commentaar.
