Sierra Nevada llega al 2010 con un magnífico manto blanco cubriendo toda la estación. Los esfuerzos se centran ahora en desbloquear los remontes, una tarea ardua que debe ser hecha a mano. De momento, se está trabajando en el telesilla Veleta I, y los próximos objetivos son los remontes Stadium y Virgen de las Nieves, así como la zona de Montebajo. Por otro lado, el panorama se presenta un poco más invernal para el resto de los días navideños. Así nos lo ha hecho saber uno de los meteorólogos más conocidos de nuestro país, José Antonio Maldonado, que estos días visita la estación.
