De vijf politiemensen naar wie onderzoek is gedaan voor hun rol bij de fatale rellen in Hoek van Holland worden niet vervolgd.Dat heeft het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) in Den Haag bekendgemaakt, waar dinsdag het eerste rapport van de Rijksrecherche werd gepresenteerd. Volgens het OM hebben de betrokken agenten uit noodweer gehandeld. In het onderzoek werd alleen gekeken naar de rol van de politie bij het strandfeest en naar de dood van de 19-jarige Robbie van der Leeden, die om het leven kwam door een politie-kogel. Hier een reconstructie van de gebeurtenissen.
