We are asking people of all faiths to come forward as Eid is a Feast celebration for all in the community. Eid celebration, when done correctly, is inclusive of people in the communities regardless of their beliefs. It is a natural, joyous and uniting festival prescribed in Islam so to create cultural and community cohesion and we want everyone to be part of it. This is not a project for just one team or organization rather it is an obligation upon us all to work together and feel each one of us own a part of this amazing movement.

In a handful of years we hope to revive the Sunnah and have Eid celebrated correctly in all of the UK. We hope within a decade to have over 100,000 celebrate at the Excel centre or a similar venue along side scores of parks where local Masajid may unite with their community. Within our lives we hope that the UK finally establishes the Eid Holidays as a national bank holiday for us all. It is our right!

Though it is our right please note that the government will not respond unless YOU the public demand it through letters and being side by side at the 1Eid events. If the events are not completely packed out it will show not enough people want the holiday and thus we cannot achieve the goals.

This dinner is an open invitation to the revivalists upon the truth of the Qur'an and Sunnah and to those who wish to learn about us. We hope to revive the correct methods of praying and celebrating the Eid festivals. Its importance has been established by the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that "Every nation has its festival and this (Eid) is your festival"

Unlike other religious holidays which are intended as a form of worship for their faith, the Eid festival is quite open to everyone and all faiths as the word itself is calling to a feast! It is a time for all neighbors to come together and get to know one another with a family bonding atmosphere event such as a fun fair or other forms of grand celebrations.

The 1Eid team (www.1eid.net) call upon those in authority and those with the ability to make a behavioral change in the United Kingdom (others may follow) regarding how we pray and celebrate on the Eid days. Presently it is corrupted by a feeble prayer trapped inside the masjid (House of God) when it should be performed out in the open spaces or in a large enough indoor venue (when needed) where noone is excluded.

The children are malnourished in this regard and is it surprising they find comfort in other festivities of other faiths or non? They to deserve a time of fun and excitement.

The women are left to stay home while the men pray Eid and after its just going from one relatives house to another forcing the women to cook and clean on their festival day.

Many might wonder is this possible? A place outside? Secure from weather? Women can come also? Children are given a festival? All of this in the UK? The answers are yes, yes, yes, yes AND yes!

Have a look at the video from 2007 where we launched a pilot program in west London for 4000 and we were victims of our own success overrun by nearly 9000 on the first day and another 15000 on the second day Allahu Akbar.
