You've missed the crucial part of cleaning the Roomba. What you have done is basically a "wipe- off". On the cleaning head module, the is a gearbox. Inside must be cleaned. Since you have the black cleaning head, bearings are fitted so you may not need to clean if but I do advise to look. - iMayne Robotics

One of the drive motor wheel's sensor is damaged

Either the brush bearing are dirty or the gearbox on the CHM needs cleaning. Read here: tinyurl . com / 3nssrkw

The IR LEDs needed replacing. You can get the IR LEDs off ebay. Search for Roomba Bumper Repair Kit
-
You can repair the issue by purchasing 2 IR LEDs for the bumper optical. Parts are on ebay. Search for Cliff Sensor Repair Kit. I think it's cheaper.
-
If you are comfortable with soldering iron you can repair it yourself. If you have the 5xx/6xx Roomba you can by the 2 IR LEDs and repair it. Search eBay for Roomba Cliff Sensor Repair Kit.

Hi. Your control panel needs repairing and thats it ;)
-
The issue is, you need to replace the IR LED at the front. If you were in the UK I could make it much durable for you. When I modified any Roomba, it sure to last longER.
-
Connection to the circuit board needs repairing or the sensor. This issue is common in the UK.
-
Bumper sensor needs repairing or replaced.
-
Can be only two issues; either it needs a new battery (please avoid replacements) or the sensors needs repairing. I can supply you with OEM batteries for £49.99 - Free shipping UK + Ireland Only.
-
Seen that before. I really did laugh before fixing it. But hey, I love my UK customers LOL.
-
If you have the Green or Black CHM then the bearings are damaged and needs replacing with sealed bearings. iRobot uses shielded bearings which does not lasts long like the sealed bearings. I've successfully repaired many of these issues in the UK.

Yes I will have a look at your product a little bit better and see what difference it is comparing to other Robots. Will keep you posted.
-
You may need to replace the wheel sensors. But do clean them first. I tell my customers to clean the wheels 1st b4 sending the Roomba to me for repairs, in the UK.
-
In this case since the Rommba stops on the Home Base, HB, I assume that the HB increases its voltage to 22.5 volts and decreases (POSSIBILITY). What I have seen so far is that the issue can be either the HB or the charging circuitry of the Roomba. Very technical to repair. I had to replace few ICs off the circuit board. To properly do this, you must be equipped with a infrared pre-heater.
If you are in the UK, I can repair this for you for only £49.99.
-
I had that SAME problem with one of my customer's Roomba. I only changed the battery and it worked. Do that.
-
Not much persons will purchase this. Why? Most and many persons will hate keep changing pads. But hey, we'll see what the market says.

The red tape? It's to hold the brush motor in place.
-
Nice video, mate! Each time I purchase one, I scrap them for parts to repair my customer's Roombas here in the UK LOL.
-
Installing these bearings take time. I have done it for my customers and so far they don't have any problems. But my mod solves the problem. All you need is just time and experience to make it 101% perfect.
-
Hey, Pale....., let me look at the CHM for you - free. And you can compare it with iRobot's and my modification. But you will pay for shipping to n from the UK. Let me know.
-
The mod that iRobot does is not perfect. I will not say much but it's best to get it mod by experienced engineers; in which I do.
-
What I do for my customers is to modify the gear box. This process is to drill n cut then insert stealed bearings. This process will eliminate debris and runs great on carpets. It also indeed voids your warranty, but my customers don't care as long as it protects their machine. ;)
