Just noticed your number, "2003-2007 - Iraq - 655,000 +", that probably is the number in the "old" 2006 British "the Lancet" report. The 2007 British "ORB" report number is 1.2 million. 1.2 million is 4.6% of total Iraqi population when the war started in 2003. More information, Google "ORB survey of Iraq War casualties". As a comparison, the total casualities of Americans in the World War II was just 0.3% of the total American population at that time. RussiaToday uses the number of 1.4 million recently. I believe that is a reasonable number to use for up to 2008.
