Fuselage all repaired and ok but there is a very slight bend in the motor shaft i was hoping to get away with, its generating too much vibration so i will have to change it.

Maiden flight of my T-rex 450 clone with a align scale MD500E fuselage. Previous hovering and setup only done, this is its first real flight on the field. It performed really well, im very pleased with it. Other projects on the way using Align fuselages. Next up will be a MD500D with missile launchers.
I used a 11.1V 3S 1800 lipo which will give a flight time of 5-6 mins in idle up @ 70% head speed. I could get more but i like a saftey margine of a minute.
All vibration has been removed with some creative padding, overall it looks and flies great.

Set up & hover tests of my latest project, a MD500E scale fuselage with T Rex 450 Clone mechanics. It has worked out really well and i look forward to its maiden flight on the club field. Powered by a 3S 11.1V 1800mah lipo, this bird has plenty of lift and power. It also has a custom army style paint job with running lights.

Got this off RCUniverse a while ago, and finally got it up in the air. This footage was a couple days before the Heli Event at Mission. I also took more footage out at the event, doing some loops and rolls with it, hillarious, as it's a bit tail heavy. Some good footage here though, thanks to CD for fliming
