A video I made this past weekend of me drumming. In case you're wondering, I've been playing the drums for about 14 years or so (although I haven't been able to play them much while I've been in college, only when I come home on weekends). I had already been playing for an hour or so, so my arms were a little tired. Note the earplugs and earmuffs to save my hearing; I might look like a tool, but at least I'll still have my hearing in a few years. Also, I had tape on my hands to cover up some blisters, but ended up getting more anyways so it wasn't all that effective. In case you're wondering, my kit is Mapex Pro M series that I bought from Soul Drums in Toronto about 4-5 years ago. I've detached several pieces from it that I tend not to use as much and add to the clutter: three octaboons, a chinese crash cymbal, two additional splash cymbals, a second floor tom, and a third middle tom. As you might imagine, it takes up a fuckload of room when I have all that stuff included as well. I hope you enjoy this, or are inspired by it, or whatever. I'm hoping to have some more drumming videos up soon, as well some acoustic covers in the near future. Stay tuned!
