The Hull & Humber is one of ten 68 foot ocean going yachts, each representing a major international city or region, in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 2007-08. It has been entered by regional development agency Yorkshire Forward to promiote the area on a global stage. It is crewed by predominantly amateur sailors who have received extensive training for the 35,000 miles, ten month voyage to five continents. There is a professional skipper, Danny Watson. This channel is dedicated to their exploits with video reports from the world's oceans and stopover ports.

Hi, I'm project manager for the Hull & Humber Clipper Project. It's a big job coordinating the wide range of activities surrounding this region's entry in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 2007-08. In addition to supporting trade and other activities to promote the Hull & Humber and wider Yorkshire area, we want to make as many people as possible aware of this exciting adventure.
