This St-Barth webcam timelapse is made by recording a picture every minute, the movie speed is X 3600 ! You can see this webcam in real time on www.st-barths.com (Please note we are not affiliated with this website). This movie has been done on the 17 & 18th of march 2009, 540 pictures has been recorded before pasting them on the timeline, 1 minute in real = 1 picture on the movie. This is located at 270km at north-west of guadeloupe in the West French Indies, the capital is Gustavia, but this view represent the bay of st-jean and the st jean airport at the left of the picture. You can see one beautiful yacht arriving at midday the 18th of march. There were no rain during this one and half day. There are about 11 months per year of sun at st barth island !

Trip at Les Arcs, at the end of the winter (march 2009), made in HD 720p . Beautiful white and snowy mountains over Bourg Saint Maurice (France) in the french alps. Les Arcs 1600 is located at 1600 meters of altitud (skiing there is ok) and some pictures are made from hotel "chalet beguin" at 1750 meters of altitud (located close to the UCPA center). There are others close ski station, but not shown here, like Les Arcs 1800 or Les Arcs 2000, which are pretty good for ski holidays (recommended). You can come from London by Eurostar, or from Amsterdam with Thalys, or with classic TGV (direct from Paris Gare de Lyon, about 4h30 of TGV). Getting off the train you can take the funicular up to Les Arcs 1600 (+ free shuttle for Les Arcs 1800, 1950 and 2000). It's really a lovely ski station and affordable (not so cheap, but ok)
Voyage aux Arcs à la fin de l'hiver (mars 2009), fait en HD 720p. Jolies montagnes blanches et enneigées au dessus de Bourg St Maurice (Alpes francaises). Les Arcs 1600 sont situés à 1600 metres d'altitude (il est possible de skier ici), d'autres images sont prises depuis l'hotel "chalet beguin" a 1750 metres d'altitude (situé proche du centre UCPA). Il y'a d'autres stations de ski : Les Arcs 1800, Les Arcs 1950 (qu'on ne voit pas sur les images, mais je les recommande egalement pour vos vacances au ski). Vous pouvez venir directement en TGV depuis la Gare de Lyon à Paris, en 4h30. En sortant du train vous pouvez prendre immédiatement le funiculaire qui monte aux Arcs 1600 (il y'a ensuite des navettes gratuites pour les Arcs 1800, 1950 et 2000). C'est vraiment une bonne station de ski pour passer de bonnes vacances en montagne à un prix abordable (pas low cost non plus, mais correct).
