I had this particular song stuck in my head for nearly 2 years. Everytime I heard the lyrics I always thought of specific scenes in the LOTR trilogy and I've wanted to do a tribute for it ever since. I also love the hypnotic rhythm of the song and thought it was perfect.

The original "Make Me Bad" video had a sci-fi kind of feel to it so I used clips from Friday the 13th (adding high contrast filters and a green tint) to set up the insane "Asylum" atmosphere and mixed in some of my favorite kills from the Friday movies for the "patient history" theme. It was really a project just to experiment and have fun with.

This is my favorite movie of all-time and I can identify with it like no other film. The theme of this video deals with the main character creating another persona to deal with his loss, pain, and insanity which is expressed through the lyric of "need someone to break the silence". The song "Why" by Stabbing Westward had the perfect lyrics to create a tribute to the film and the late Brandon Lee. This video also features my favorite (and signature) transition of the action pausing and then dissolving into the next scene.

This movie is right up there with The Crow for being one of my all-time favorites. I tried to stay true to the theme of Peter's struggles with juggling his life of being Spider-man. One of my favorite angry songs with my favorite superhero. I thought the lyrics of "Judith" by A Perfect Circle fit the origin of how the hero and the villain came to be. Both characters had circumstances and something/someone taken from them that pushed them into what they were...one a hero, the other an insane villain.
