Yeah several historical figures are Gods or Saints to people now. Mother Theresa, Jesus, St. Paul. All of their histories have either been inflated by the church or simply fabricated. I'm almost certain that Jesus could never perform any of the miracles they write about in the bible. I mean, it's so easy to convince radical people about a truth that is genuinely a lie, especially when there is no way to prove that he never in fact could perform a miracle, much less that he existed. It's why preachers can say anything about the Lord and his abilities and the church going cronies will easily believe them.

On the other hand, Aliens, UFOs, and actual science that people don't like to write about for fear of being ridiculed...well, that kind of material is almost instantly ignored. It's very sad.
