This villa is located 1.5 km from Baia dei Sospiri beach and 5 km from the ancient fishing village of Brucoli, where guests will find the nearest restaurants and bars. For more bustle, as well as essential shops such as a chemists and banks, the town of Augusta is a 20-minute drive away - its old centre is detached from the mainland, and lies on its own islet surrounded by 2 harbours. Frederick II's castle on the causeway is a must-see and guests can enjoy the very best in Sicilian seafood in its numerous restaurants.
Facilities:
This is a private residential country estate with restricted access to the Baia dei Sospiri, or Bay of Sighs. Sighs, because the bay's crystal clear waters, well-maintained lawns pinned by palm trees and general air of exclusivity, will doubtless make guests sigh with pleasure. This is a modern-style family home located in the midst of countryside, surrounded by olive groves and rolling Sicilian hills and offering a total of 14 rooms. The property has lots of clean lines, cool airy spaces, and, despite its proximity to the sea, an above-ground swimming pool. The house is divided into 2 independent parts, each of which can house six people: the main 2-floor part and a single ground floor annexe, linked together by a cool outside eating area with a ping pong table. Ample covered private parking is available for those arriving by car. Features include an outside shower and a delightful barbeque area outside the kitchen.
Rooms:
The main building (for up to 6 people) offers a sitting/dining area, a WC with a washing machine, a kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven, a gas stove, and a fridge/freezer. On the 1st floor guests will find a twin room, a double room with en suite shower room and a WC, a double room and a shower room with a WC. The annexe (for up to 12 people) offers an entrance into the sitting/dining area, a kitchen with a double sink unit, an electric oven, a 4-ring gas stove, and a fridge/freezer as well as a twin room, 2 double rooms, a bathroom, a WC, 2 shower rooms and a WC with a washing machine. An ironing set is provided with the accommodation as standard.
Sports/Entertainment:
The outdoor swimming pool is open between May and September (weather permitting) and guests may relax on the sun terrace with its sun loungers and parasols.
Misc.:
A refundable security deposit is payable on arrival. Cot hire is chargeable and payable locally. Late arrivals after 8 pm are chargeable and payable locally. If guests need any assistance during their stay, they should contact the Italian office on 095 374183 or (mobile) 338 6376526.
How to get there:
Guests arriving by car from Catania's airport should follow signs to Tangenziale and Siracusa. Thereafter follow signs to Tangenziale ovest and Siracusa (on the S.S. 114). Follow S.S. 114 for 13.5 km from the airport and pass over a bridge on the Simeto River. After about 20 km from airport, cross over a second bridge on the San Leonardo River. After about 26.5 km from the airport guests will see an Esso petrol station on the right. After about 2.5 km they will see a crossroad sign for Brucoli on the right. On leaving S.S. 114, turn right after about 150 m and proceed in the direction of Brucoli/Augusta (S.P. 57). Continue in this direction for about 3.5 km until seeing 2 public rubbish bins on the left. Close by these bins they will find the entrance to the private road for Arcile. Follow this narrow road for about 600 m and on reaching a small bridge over a railway turn immediately right. After about 50 m the property's main gate will come into view.

Este chalé está situado a 1,5 km de la playa de Baia dei Sospiri y a 5 km del antiguo pueblo pesquero de Brucoli, donde podrá encontrar los bares y restaurantes más cercanos. Pero si quiere más ajetreo, así como lugares esenciales como farmacias y bancos, lo encontrará en el municipio de Augusta, a 20 minutos de trayecto. Su casco antiguo está separado de tierra firme y se encuentra en su propio islote rodeado por 2 puertos. No se puede perder el castillo de Federico II en el paso elevado y podrá disfrutar del mejor marisco siciliano en sus numerosos restaurantes.
Instalaciones:
Se trata de una finca residencial privada con acceso restringido a la Baia dei Sospiri o Bahía de los Suspiros. Suspiros, porque la bahía tiene aguas cristalinas, césped bien cuidado con palmeras y un toque de exclusividad que, sin duda, le harán suspirar de placer. Se trata de una casa familiar de estilo moderno situada en medio del campo, rodeada de olivares y las colinas onduladas de Sicilia. Cuenta con un total de 14 habitaciones, con líneas de diseño simples, espacios aireados y, a pesar de su proximidad al mar, dispone de una piscina desmontable. La casa está dividida en 2 partes independientes, cada una de las cuales puede acomodar 6 personas: la parte principal de 2 plantas y la planta baja anexa individual, que dan a una zona fresca de merendero al aire libre con mesa de ping-pong. Además, hay un amplio aparcamiento cubierto donde podrá dejar su coche, una ducha al aire libre y una espléndida barbacoa fuera de la cocina.
Habitaciones:
El edificio principal (para hasta 6 personas) ofrece una zona de estar/comedor, WC con lavadora, cocina con lavaplatos, horno, cocina de gas y nevera/congelador. El la primera planta encontrará una habitación con 2 camas individuales, una habitación doble con ducha y WC, otra habitación doble y un baño con ducha y WC. El anexo (para hasta 12 pesonas) ofrece una entrada a la zona de estar/comedor, una cocina con doble fregadero, horno eléctrico, cocina de 4 hornillos de gas, nevera/congelador, una habitación con 2 camas individuales, 2 habitaciones dobles, cuarto de baño, WC, 2 baños con ducha y un WC con lavadora. El set de plancha completa el estándar.
Deporte y ocio:
La piscina al aire libre está abierta de mayo a septiembre (siempre que el tiempo lo permita) y podrá relajarse en la terraza con tumbonas y sombrillas.
Otra información:
A su llegada, deberá pagar una fianza que le será devuelta a su salida. Podrá alquilar cunas, que deberá pagar en el establecimiento. Los registros más tarde de las 20:00 horas están sujetos a un coste extra que se paga en el establecimiento. Cómo llegar:
Si llega desde el aeropuerto de Catania, deberá seguir las señales a Tangenziale y Siracusa. Después, siga las indicaciones a Tangenziale ovest y Siracusa (por la S.S. 114). Siga por la S.S. 114 durante 13,5 km desde el aeropuerto y pase sobre el puente del río Simeto. Tras unos 20 km del aeropuerto, pase sobre un segundo puente que cruza el río San Leonardo. Tras haber recorrido unos 26,5 km desde el aeropuerto, deberá ver una estación de servicio Esso a mano derecha. Siga unos 2,5 km y verá un cruce que indica Brucoli a la derecha. Cuando salga de la S.S. 114, gire de nuevo a la derecha tras unos 150 m y continúe en dirección a Brucoli/Augusta (S.P. 57). Siga en esta dirección durante unos 3,5 km hasta que vea unos contenedores de basura a la izquierda. Cerca de ellos encontrará la entrada a la carretera privada hacia Arcile. Siga por esta carretera estrecha durante unos 600 m y, cuando esté llegando a un pequeño puente sobre las vías, gire inmediatamente a la derecha. Tras recorrer unos 50 m verá la entrada principal del establecimiento.
