Hastang is an indie band from Cebu City, Philippines composed of members Tessa Manto (lead vocals), Raul Luche Jr. (guitars), Guile Canencia (bass guitar), and Mark Austin Ladanan (drums and percussion).

With uncanny deftness, the band combines an aggressive sonic style with lyrical sublimity (courtesy of lyricist and frequent collaborator Julie Ann Redoble) in their songs no doubt fueled by the diverse musical influences of each of the members.

But the goal remains the same -- to create music that resonates with blatant honesty, raw emotion, and unconstrained passion.
