The Harlem Gospel Choir was formed by Allen Bailey in 1986. It has become so much in demand that it has grown to four touring choirs plus one choir that only performs in New York City.
The theme of every concert is "bringing people and nations together, and giving something back". Our hero is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

HGC je nejslavnějším gospelovým sborem současnosti. Cestuje po světě a svými vystoupeními rozdává víru a lásku. Shows HGC jsou naprosto fenomenálním příkladem profesionálního pojetí tradiční gospel music.
Sbor byl založen v roce 1986 Allenem Baileym. V současnosti po světě tourují 4 sbory a 1 sbor vystupuje pravidelně v New Yorku.
Posláním každého koncertu je "stmelovat lidi a národy, a přinášet jim něco navíc. Takové je i poslání Martina Luthera Kinga Jr.
Nejslavnější gospelový sbor světa nastartoval v roce 2006 v Česku obrovský zájem o gospel music. Diváky během 6 show naprosto nadchnul a rok poté na jeho vystoupení čekaly davy fanoušků. V roce 2008 sbor vyrazil na největší koncertní turné zahr. interpreta v česko-slovenských dějinách - neuvěřitelných 14 koncertů, s ovacemi a velkým zájmem médií.
V roce 2009 přijede HGC s novým repertoárem opět...
