We met Afrika Bambaata, and the funny thing About it was that he had barely been in California, and he wanted to know where he could get some good Mexican Food. Joaquin Casareno and Bubba G Scotch walked BAM around the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk to show him somw West Coastt flava. It was dope to have him , and later that night performing at Club Culture. Special day, special performer.

Great to see the classic Afrika Bambaataa joint. Back in the day, he flew from New York to Santa Cruz California for the first time to play with Bubba G Scotch, who was the first West Coasr DJ to do live scratching, way ahead of his time.
