In 1967 (ya yer right, her hair style says 1967) Pop star Sylvie Vartan performs her mesmerizing version of 'I can't Help myself' for the Scopitone-- a video jukebox of the day. I see this video already up, but I manage better quality. Sylvie has her own style, and that includes dancing, which I would call the 'Praying Mantis'! .

Anyway this is one of my favorite things to watch cuz of all the different dancers and their styles. There's 'the human doll' (white dress, left of SV, slightly to back) and the plaid sisters (the hoppers at the start) ... and there's Pushy and her loose-limbed pal (left of SV), there's Punchy (right of SV, punching at SV!), there's 'the pea jacket boys' (right and forward) ... Find yer own favorite! ...

People climbing up to the empty platform behind her as the song starts (actually at the 30 sec mark), and then a little later they are dancing on it. (less info)
