PositivelyCleveland: We had 36 amazing entries into the Official Positively Cleveland Tourism Video Contest and we cannot thank you enough. The diversity and talent here is truly inspiring. Our judges will be rating the five (5) semifinalists today and the winner will be announced at 2pm. This is a tough competition, each video was great in entirely different ways. lightcatcher37: So why did you bother with a time limit when two of your semifinalists went over it? Time makes a difference in choosing sequences for video. Those two should have been disqualified.

Say no to sabotage!
stdesantis: Seen some comments from people saying they suspect that low ratings were given by others to get a competitive edge. Just wanted to say that we should probably all just support each other and rate honestly. Hope I don't sound like a suck-up, but this has been fun and it's exciting to see all the new videos popping up every day.
Classychaos: I agree. It's a shame to see people leave such negative comments on several videos when this is supposed to be a fun contest for all to enjoy.

Quarterfinalists vs. Semifinalists
SportsMockLive: Positively Cleveland: Can you clarify the rules and process re: Quarterfinalists and Semifinalists? It seems that there are 5 quarterfinalists and also 5 semifinalists. This is confusing me. Also, how will rating ties be handled?
PositivelyCleveland: There will be 5 semifinalists and 2 winners. Semifinalists will be choosen based on ratings (the 5 highest rated videos). In the event of a ratings tie, the video with the most views will move on. Thanks!

How long before video approval?
PositivelyCleveland: We approve videos every morning, however yours needs to be renamed per the contest rules. Make sure the video is titled "Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism Video/Your Names" and we'll get it approved. Thanks for entering, the video looks great!

Ratings/Views frozen?
stdesantis: Is anyone else having a problem with ratings/views frozen? I've been getting recent e-mails from my friends saying that they've voted/watched, but my view count has been stuck at 303 for a few hours now, while it was steadily increasing every few minutes this morning. Is this a YouTube bug?
Classychaos: Yes. It takes youtube a couple of hours to "refresh" and update. Someone said that they are probably 4 hours behind in the grand scheme of things. Hope that helps.

Length of video
lightcatcher37: Your contest page states that videos need to be under two minutes. A paragraph later it states up to two minutes. Which time limit are you enforcing?
