Five videos tied for the highest rating on YouTube. Here's how to help choose the winner among the five finalists.
marchtoimpeach: There were a bunch of really good videos submitted, and five of them each got 4.5-star ratings on YouTube. To help choose the winner of the overall contest, please go to http://www.democrats.com/dump-dick-video-contest-poll and rank the five finalists in your order of preference. The deadline is midnight on Monday, August 13.

How do we vote?
moniquekp: I know this must sound stupid but how do we vote? Do I simply select it as my favorite?
marchtoimpeach: Where it says "Video Rating" underneath each video you can click from one to five stars to rate each video. So, yeah, it's not so much voting for one favorite video as rating as many as you like. Then we'll have a runoff among the videos with the highest average ratings.

Show why the impeachment impeachment process is positive
bebopcosmonaut: It is worth organizing groups to hit the streets, to carry signs, to visit your representative's and senators' office. The people need to scream through every crack in the official armor, tattoo every visible surface with the message of impeachment. It will right our listing ship of state.
bebopcosmonaut: I believe the House of Representatives will bring charges if we stand up and tell them loudly enough it is required. We need to remind our Representatives how they got their position in Congress. If you have a voice, if you have fingers with which to type, if you have a phone on which to call, if you can make a sign or write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper, if you can create a video simple or complex you can put pressure on members of both the House and the Senate.

I object to "Bush impeachment town hall"
eblumrich: I object to the latest video (Bush impeachment Town Hall") being included in this competition. It was not created for this contest- it was made two months ago... It enters the contest with as established viewership, and skews voting.

Is anybody else having trouble submitting a video--or seeing all the videos in the group (there should be at least seven at this point)?
attic4fester: I just uploaded my entry and it hasn't appeared yet, but I assume they are scanned for appropriate content before becoming available. Does it usually take some time or did I do something wrong and it just didn't go through? I'm a newbie.
eblumrich: I uploaded my entry and added it with ease... Youtube is a freaky service- a few months ago, videos took a day to approve- now, it takes less than an hour. Guess they're gettin' that google cheese...

Idea for those who have the skills to make something pro looking
automaton111: Just an idea: Side Text and a voice-over would list impeachable offenses committed by each. Nixon's list would end with "Impeachment." Cheney's list would finally end with the word "Impeachment?" End with a plea for folks to ask their representatives to support impeachment for "Tricky Dickie Cheney." A play on words could be used to show how Nixon's title of "Tricky Dickie" also makes perfect sense for DICK Cheney.
theprits: Nixon's list should end with "pardon". We need to push the message that if we had held Nixon accountable, we wouldn't have Cheney and his nonsense today.

Gonzales impeachment: distraction or good first step?
marchtoimpeach: Do you think an investigation into the impeachable offenses of Alberto Gonzales will set the stage for the impeachment of Dick Cheney? Or do you think it's a distraction--or a way to placate angry voters--that will make a Cheney impeachment less likely?
snakejohnson: I wonder sometimes. I don't understand why the Dems look at impeachment like it's a bad thing. I think if the impeachment hearings were done and made public, so all the world can see, more people would support finding Bush guilty. And the rethuglican congressmen would have to go along or risk getting voted out of office.
