Underwater Video Cameras (Optio vs.Olympus)
riverrattH20: Which camera do you think is better overall? My main concerns are video formats and fps (frames per second). Standard video cameras shoot at 30fps as the industry standard. Olympus shoots at 15. Optio to me has a drawback in that it's movie capture is in a quicktime format as aposed to Olympus which captures video in AVI format.
muddw83: I haven't tried the Olympus, but I have a Pentax Optio W30, and I don't see why the format would be a significant problem, as it can be converted (I use ffmpeg under GNU/Linux). Is there an image quality issue I'm not aware of? I guess the main advantage of the Olympus mju is that it's sturdier - it goes deeper and is shock resistant. Anyway, price and availability made the choice (Pentax) for me.

JBWarner86: So how come people keep adding clips with no underwater content whatsoever? I'm not saying they're all like that, but quite a few of them are just wetlook, and I don't know about you, but that's not what I joined this group for.

How to add videos to this group
cestrius: You can still add videos to any Youtube group. 1. Create a new playlist/favorites category named something like "groups." 2. Go to the video you want to add & click on "add to playist." Make sure you add it to the "groups" playlist. 3. Enter the group you want to add the video to & click on "Add Videos." 4.) You will be taken to your favorites/playists. Look in the "groups" playlist, select, & add your video to the group from there. 5. Prune your "groups" playlist to avoid confusion.
