it's been a year since World Horse Welfare (formerly the ILPH) launched their 'Make A Noise' appeal urging horse lovers to sign the petition against the live transportation or horses across Europe, but even if you live outside the EU, you can still sign (to my knowledge). The aim is to get 100,000 signatures. if I remember rightly, we need 70,000 more. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sign the petition! If you don't you are saying that you do not love horses (or the environment, as millions of units of carbon are emitted throughout the 1700 mile long journey from Poland to Italy!)! as my regular viewers and friends will know, my pony was rescued by my mum's friends two years ago as an unbacked 6 year old. watch this video if you are convinced that horse slaughter is a necessary evil, even though without this pony, i would be dead and Georgie would never be a potential JA pony. We are aiming to get onto the British pony show jumping team within the next three years, people with horses and ponies who have been rescued from the trade should come forward and share what they know with the world as it raises vital awareness!
