When will the winners be announced? Presumably around October 1st?
MCSCoder: I asked the same question, but still have not gotten a response.....
nicolageretti: I got a response today from a person leading the Contest management. I was told Shuttle had some technical issues with some of the entries and sending out e-mails that were apparently not received (at least not by me). They should be contacting each contestant via e-mail again today. I'll post if I get any further info.

fellowjuggalozack: In order to qualify you must meet the criteria's specified in the contest rules. PLUS - you have to submit your video and fill out the entry form on the contest landing page. It seems some people submitted a video to the group but did not fill out the entry form on the contest page. If you view the gallery on the contest landing page you only see 5 videos!!

UCanSmacker: I think there is a flaw in the voting that some are taking advantage of, you can cast a vote, refresh the page and cast another for the same video, so you can pretty much have an unlimited votes if you have all day to spend voting for your own video.....apparently some members of this group have figured it out since you have to be a member of the group in order to vote, and we only have 22 members, and 162 votes???....
nicolageretti: Yes the flaw exists, but I also invited a lot of people to this page when I posted it a few days ago (it was my birthday). Also, as a reminder, the channel voting has NO INFLUENCE on the contest whatsoever. Shuttle decides based on the creativity, tecnique etc... that green bar does not determine the winner. The group was created just to collect the videos in one place. Good luck to everyone! (even to the one that hated my vid ;))

Defamation, Privacy Waiver is an entry killer! Original work is important in all these type of entries. But, it's professionally unworth it to give up these essential rights, plus take time to create the music, create sound effects, and make and original video that do not infringe copyrights.

MCSCoder: Anyone actually planning to upload anything?? I'm kind of disapointed with the turn out for this comp...
3dot65kilos: I've noticed that too, MCS. I was expecting at least a few dozen entries, but that now seems highly unlikely. I have my video finished but don't want to upload it early enough to where someone can watch mine and then make something comparatively better.

How come on other adds for this comp it says a 90 sec video, here it says 30 or less???? which one is it??
ShuttleLabs: @MCSCoder Originally, it was 30 seconds but we've realized (after making the "Fast & Furious Shuttle PC" parody) that 90 seconds is better. Good luck!
