Whether you are a first timer or an experienced grower, the first and most important distinction to be made is the choice between growing outdoor or indoor. Both offer advantages and disadvantages. Once the decision is made, it is important to get the right type of genetics for the purpose. Most cannabis plants can be grown indoor or outdoor, but the peculiar characteristics of each strain always guarantee best results in one of the two ways. The personal or commercial nature of the operation will always influence the choice of the genetics. Sativas are usually regarded as higher quality, while indica strains are faster and more commercial.
Between the over 20 strains now sold by the Green House Seed Company there are true indoor champions and true outdoor champions. The Himalaya Gold is one of the most recommended outdoor plants, because of its genetic resistance to cold nights, altitude, pests and diseases. The origin of the plant is from the Himalayan region, and it proved an incredibly versatile and adaptable strain.
Another true outdoor champion is the Arjan's Haze #1, a cross of the G13 with the Laos that gives great production and unique sativa high. The Arjan's Haze #1 performs very well indoor, but outdoor the plants can grow to reach their development-peak and the maximum productivity. Moreover, solar light activates the production of a wider range of cannabinoids in the buds, guaranteeing a truly psychedelic effect.
On the indoor side, the best plants of the Green House Seed Company are King's Kush, K-Train, Trainwreck, Lemon Skunk, Cheese, Great White Shark, White Rhino, El Nino and White Widow.
The last four of these strains belong to the "white" family and share a common genetic origin. They are shorter, bushier plants with great bud production and amazing resin production. The bouquet and taste vary considerably, as well as the effect. The White Rhino in particular is very suitable for sea of green systems, where the plants are kept very close to one another and flowered at an early stage. It has a sweet taste and a great narcotic effect that made it popular with MS patients and chronic pain patients.
The Great White Shark and Trainwreck are very popular between indica lovers worldwide. Their yields are amazing and the buds rock-hard.
The Hawaiian Snow, the Strawberry Haze and the Neville's Haze are both outdoor or indoor plants, but are mostly grown indoor because of their longer flowering time. Sometimes these varieties are given 12 hours of light from the very beginning, to keep them short and to shorten the flowering time.
There are also plants that are very suitable for both indoor and outdoor conditions, such as the El Niño, the Church, the Big Bang and the Super Silver Haze. These strains will perform incredibly good both ways, with some differences in plant development and yield. The Super Silver Haze in particular can produce more when grown outdoor, as the plants can develop taller and stronger branches can sustain the heavy buds. The choice of the genetics remains one of the key factors in the success of every grower or breeder, and it is very important to acquire the most information before committing to the task.

Hello my name is Arjan and I am the founder of the Green House Coffeeshops and Seed Company.
In 1985 at the age of 20 I met an old medicine man in Thailand. At this point I'd already spent ten years of my life in Africa and five years in Asia. The old medicine man had a dream: he dreamt of a free cannabis plant. He explained and taught me the religion of this plant.
But he also explained he would never win his battle with just money. Passion and love were the only options.
No one ever died because of the cannabis plant, but the power of alcohol, tobacco and the pharmaceutical industry prevent this plant from being used and accepted.
The medicine man was right. He eventually died, but the day I met him he changed my life. I wanted to bring his dream closer to reality.
I returned to Holland and got to work. Due to the Dutch Law I can't disclose what I did for the next few years up until 1992, but I expect you can guess. All my passion and knowledge encouraged me to open the first Green House Coffeeshop, in the Tolstraat in Amsterdam, in 1992. Green House had a different approach from all other existing coffeeshops. Instead of the old, dark and stuffy interiors, the shop was a big open space with colorful artistic decoration created entirely by my wife and myself. We created the first artistic Cafe-Coffeeshop in Holland. We invited Amsterdam Police officials and the city mayor to the opening, and Green House was an instant hit. The judges from the High Times Cannabis Cup dropped by in 1993 and we won several prizes - for best atmosphere, best weed, and more. It was the beginning of the Green House legend, one that thousands of customers experience everyday.
Celebrities from all over the world started visiting us and became our friends. Take a look at our 'Hall of Fame', you'll be surprised by all the famous names that have spent time here, enjoying the same atmosphere as you and me. We grew rapidly into a major cannabis enterprise and we won prizes every year at the High Times Cannabis Cup, many of which for the best atmosphere or best weed. In 1993 we expanded, opening our second Cafe-Coffeeshop on the Waterlooplein, a busy central square in Amsterdam.

In 1997 we opened the third Green House cafe-coffeeshop on the Oudezijds Voorburgwal in Amsterdam, in the heart of the famous Red Light District. Again, we developed and made the whole of the interior and decoration ourselves - the bar with its sunken mosaic stones lit from beneath, handmade lamps and one-off paintings - all completely unique to the Green House.
And more recently, in 2007, we opened the fourth Green House coffeeshop, in the busy Harlemmerstraat. It is a very stylish lounge, with three levels and a huge floor-acquarium with red koi carps. A real cannabis connisseur paradise, where delicious food is served all day long.

I live in colorado and have my MMJ license so Im looking for a good strain to cross with if you could give me some hints ... my strain is on my Page so if you would like to have a look let me know ..
1. I use a 1000 watt light for 2 plants and Advanced Nutrients grow micro Bloom 3 part and this grow was better then the last :) MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL :)
