I'd hate to tell all of you people Green Day isn't that good...they aren't the best...know your enemy(or whatever the fuck its called, so bad i don't care what its called) they repeat do you know your enemy, like 500 times. If you prefer to call that music instead of bands who deserve credit for being the best, ex: Queen, The Who, Guess Who, Kansas, Three Dog Night, Elvis, The Beatles. NEWS FLASH! GREEN DAY IS A SELL OUT! So yeah, try some music that has soul, not this crap dissing Americans by generalizing all Americans as idiots who listen to Bush.

vlwpictures: I guess I was kind of unclear with my previous post. Green Day does indeed fucking rock. My point was that I'm tired of the folks who dismiss their music as emo when Green Day tackles important issues like corruption in government and religion in their songs. That's not exactly light-weight stuff. They were on of the few bands to write any serious protest music during the Bush years. I guess I should have just said they fucking rock and left it at that. 'cause they do. Fucking rock, that is. *sheesh*
