Novo Sancti Petri is the first golf course in Spain designed by Severiano Ballesteros. It has a total of 36 holes distributed into two 18-hole courses. Many people still consider our courses to be Severiano's masterpiece. The opening of the first 27 holes took place in 1990. The remaining 9 holes were ready in April, 2001.

At the Novo Sancti Petri Golf Academy, under the management of our Head Pro Chema Andrade, you will find a team of ten experienced golf instructors at your disposal. Our intention is for beginners to learn to understand and enjoy the game of golf, and for more advanced golfers to improve their game.

In Course A - the popular Mar y Pinos course (Sea and Pine Trees) you will find 4 par-3 holes, 10 par-4 holes and 4 par-5 holes. The first 9 holes are found in spacious fairways allowing you to savour the feeling that you are finally on holiday. The views over beautifully designed water hazards prepare you for our breathtaking hole number 6, with its green located just over a large, sandy beach. In the evening sun "You might just forget to putt", as a golf journalist once said. Hole 9 leads you past our clubhouse and caddie master to the challenging pine tree round. Here you will have to overcome some natural pine tree hazards. On the other hand, you will not be faced with any water ones.

COURSE B: CENTRO In this varied round you must play 6 par-3 holes, 6 par-4 holes and 6 par-5 holes. The first 9 holes, just opposite the caddie master are flat, with a large water hazard between holes number 5, 8 and 9. From the 10th to the 13th hole, the ground is slightly undulating, offering some excellent views over the Atlantic Ocean. There are also some water hazards between the 10th and 13th hole. Holes number 5 to 13 where the ones opened in 2001 as mentioned earlier in the general description of the whole course. Betweeen the 14th, 15th and 16th hole there is yet another large water hazard. Last but not least, on hole number 18, the designer of the course has immortalized himself by leaving us a bunker in the shape of an "S" for Severiano.

COURSE C: CAMPANO In the year 2006, the original project was resumed, setting up the remaining 9 holes to finally conclude a championship course with 18 top class holes. Its design meets all expectations for both professional as well as amateur players. The old rule "difficult par, easy bogey" has been the maxim when laying out this course. Its clubhouse has also been renovated and extended by a new building with a bar and a restaurant.

Our welcoming Clubhouse is characterized by its natural sunlight, its many decorative plants and its panoramic views of our golf course. In it you can coveniently find the following: Reception Pro shop Our main restaurant "Los Olivos" Our café with its spacious terrace A members' lounge (also available to be used for celebrations) Changing rooms with lockers, showers and sauna. The Caddie master A Classroom We must also not forget our Novo Sancti Petri staff office: management, reservations, administration and marketing. Just opposite our clubhouse, we have a crèche and children's club where your little ones can be looked after, "El Chozo" bar, and our Novo Sancti Petri Golf School. Coming out of the clubhouse is a members' car park and a driveway used by transfer buses coming from hotels. Of course there is plenty of free parking space for everyone in the vicinity of our Club.
