I was looking for a Pass in Review and found yours on the last try. I stood there many times over the years and as soon as I heard "Pass in Review", I knew it was time to move and get the ceremony over with. Years later, I ran the same parades (as Adjutant), not at 8th & I but on I&I Duty and all the units in-between. I was USMC Scout Dogs in Vietnam and have posted a few videos of my own. When the Marines were cut off behind enemy lines and the Army had written
the 1st Marine Division off as being lost because they were surrounded by 22
enemy divisions. The Marines made it out inflicting the highest casualty
ratio on an enemy in history and destroying 7 entire enemy divisions in the
process. An enemy division is 16500+ men while a Marine division is 12500 men.
