I've been a record collector since age 9 and accumulated most of the 9,000+ records (discs and cylinders) in my collection by the age of 21. Since then, my focus has been on education, administration, and local history. YouTube has taken me back into my collection once again to see what all is there. Gloria and I live in a 204-year-old stone farmhouse near Reading, PA

Interests and Hobbies: Phonograph record collecting---opera, operetta, and old-time pop---mainly from the years 1898 to 1929. On a hobby basis have authored 15 272-page illustrated local history books. Am an avid photographer and collector of old-time local photos.
Movies and Shows: Shows: All that Ohio Light Opera of Wooster, Ohio, produce each summer. Favorite show is Zeller's 1890-ish operetta VOGELHANDLER.
Music: Almost anything prior to 1929.

Though only 22 years old and having never seen a wax cylinder, I still find great joy and fascination in such early recordings, especially opera and orkestral music.
