This channel was created for the main purpose of presenting George MacDonald to those who have not yet heard of this great spiritual writer and thinker from 19th century Scotland. I will also present along the way other videos concerning non-fundamentalist Christianity and spirituality.

I plan on submitting a 50-minute film about MacDonald to a couple of film festivals in 2009. The film is finished and you can see it right here anytime you want. Look for it in my playlist.

My education was in computers--not literature, philosophy, science, or theology (as many people assume). I have a great interest in consciousness, metaphysics, cosmology, time & space--how these things came to be and how they interact.

	gCuezy (5 days ago) Yeah I'm aware of allsaints... He's pretty controversial in some parts of Orthodoxy but I'm sure I will be as well. Richard Swinburne happens to be a convert from the Church of England to the Greek Orthodox communion. He said it was an easy choice (as he held much of their theology anyways). I'm hoping I can acquire an eastern mindset without losing every bit of the western philosophy I love. It's a tough change for me to make.
	gCuezy (3 weeks ago) So I'm curious as to what Christian communion do you belong? If none what type of Church are you a part of? I ask because I love your videos, and George MacDonald (though I've not read nearly enough of him). I'm a soon-to-be convert to Orthodoxy and am amazed at how 'Orthodox' MacDonald's views are. Just my curiosity.

	cliffordchesney (4 months ago) you speak that which is in my heart. in watching part 4, i find myself in tears, in christ, the word of god. in christ it is finished. the letter of the book is trumped by the sacrifice paid by the bleeding, loving, dying, and living christ. i find in my trials that men do not wish to be free but prefer to be bound by law...to follow the letter not the love...not the one. macdonald has the best of both worlds, and i profit from his understanding and relationship with the one. sweet lord. sweet refuge. sweet salvation. pure and utter everthing encompassed in the one who reconciled man to the all present, all knowing, all loving creator. may i follow his word, his leading, his will until breath leaves my body.
