GIRP is the umbrella organisation of pharmaceutical full-line wholesalers in Europe. It represents the national associations of over 600 pharmaceutical full-line wholesalers serving 30 European countries and major pan-European full-line wholesaling companies.
The GIRP members distribute 100 billion euros worth of medicines every year. In the performance of their public service role they absolutely guarantee the highest levels of quality, integrity and excellence.
GIRP Membership is comprised of Full Members and Associated Members. The Full Membership is open to the national associations of pharmaceutical full-line wholesalers in the EU Member states and EEA area and pan-European pharmaceutical full-line wholesaling companies.
GIRP Associated Membership is open to national associations as well as to companies of Full-Line Wholesalers from non-EU Member States and countries not belonging to the European Economic Area if this company is a member of a national association or Full-Line Wholesalers, in this country if such a national association exists in this country and which is itself a member of the Association.
GIRPs External Membership is open to any company or organisation, whether pharmaceutical or not, having professional interests in common with full-line wholesalers.
