National School Meals Week (NSMW) has taken place since 1993 and is run by the Local Authority Caterers Association (LACA). The aim of the week is to increase awareness of how much school meals have changed and improved and how the meals now meet strict nutritional standards laid down by the Government. On these videos you can see what parents and pupil have said about the new school meals. NSMW also aims to educate youngsters about the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. The week is for all Primary and Secondary Schools, special schools and nurseries.
