it would be better to allow the tibetans the freedom to say whether or not they think their culture is flourishing. the fact that they unanimously decided to boycott losar in memory of all those who died in 2008 speaks volumes about the state of tibetan culture. the fact that they've continued their resistance to the chinese occupation for 60yrs, ever since mao's pla violated tibet's sovereign borders, says it all.

Hello. ^___^ Beautiful video. Thank for showing how wrong slavery is in Tibet/Southwest China. CCP did not only abolished slavery in Tibet, but also in Sichuan and Yunnan Provinces, where other minorities groups like the Yi and Jingpo, who practiced slavery as well. The world doesn't know much, because they are ignorant and bigoted.

A new report from a group of graduate students from Peking University working for a Beijing-based think tank has for the first time challenged China's official explanation that the riots that broke out across Tibet in 2008, were inspired by the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile

It suggests that In order to mask their shortcomings, and reinforce their power the Tibetan ruling cadres funded by Beijing in return for absolute loyalty have spread propaganda blaming the Dalai Lama for Tibet's social problems

The report concludes. "They use every opportunity to play the separatism card," said Phun Tshogs Dbang Rjyal, a Communist party member in Tibet who is quoted by the report.

How about the Tibetans killed, beaten, tortured with cattle prods? Is that flourishing? What a joke. Then again, it's to be expected. Most Chinese know nothing about Tibet, and still revere MAO who was responsible for the death of millions and millions of his own people. Essentially, they worship a mass murderer. How can we expect them to understand that we know what we are, we know we are not Chinese, we know our history, we know that when the Chinese invaded we were free country. It's so silly how so many Chinese think they know Tibet better than Tibetans when all they know is what they've been told to "believe" about Tibet and Tibet's history. All lies! Leave our country, stop raping our sacred land, and take your brothels, stupid amusement parks, bars, and shops with you. Take your prisons, buildings, and your devote worshipping of materialism with you.

Tibetan culture is flourishing? Then you know nothing about Tibetan culture. Do you mean the nearly 1,000 brothels in Lhasa our most sacred city? Is that your idea of flourishing? Do you mean the police stations in monasteries? The fact that Tibetans feel like we're always being watched or recorded? Spies in monasteries? Is that flourishing? The stupid staged shows sponsored by the Chinese, paying desperate people to tow the party line is nothing but lies! Perhaps you mean the tons of gold and silver taken from the monasteries and melted down in Beijing? Is that flourishing? It's flourishing for the pockets of the Chinese authorities. Yes, that's who it's flourishing for.
