Just I a little experiment I wanted to share with all synth freaks like me.
It's a drum loop filtered with ELEKTRON MONOMACHINE and SHERMAN FILTERBANK 2. I took advantage from the perfect tracking capabilities of the Elektron digital filters to "extract" a melody from the drum loop. The signal coming from the Monomachine triggers the envelope of the filterbank, then I tuned the filters frequency to get a deep bass-like sound. The 2 filters of the Filterbank are also hard-synced at different octaves to get a more harmonic timbre.
Here is another classic, this time from YMO. It couldn't be missing in my cover collection, I really love this song.
I tried to use all my analog gear to recreate the sound of the original and I'm quite satisfied. Recorded in one shot... I did some mistakes, but... hey it's LIVE!

Tonight I was doing experiments with my "new" old Moog Model D and... why not to make a video? ...So I played the first thing it crossed my mind... ...and this Irish style ballad came out...
Tech notes: I used all the three oscillators, with the third OSC stuck on E to make a duophonic sound and just a little envelope on the filter.
Little demo of this truly incredible piece of software for Nintendo DS. It sounds amazing! So at last I can play a synth also when I go to the toilet...

This is my very first composition with my new Yamaha Tenori-On. I was skeptical before trying it, but now I'm convinced that it is truly an incredible instrument and it gives the player a really new approach to music composition.

I made this video about a month ago. It was an experiment using an old Ibanez Analog Delay AD100 I found at work in the shop. The song wasn't very good so I didn't upload it at first, but... what the hell... It was fun while playing it, so here it is... I also added some tutorial comments about the sounds...
