It is my understanding though, that most Palestinians will reject any partition proposed. As long as Israel remains a state, the militant Palestinians will never agree to any permanent peace.

As it stands now, Israel will never dissolve, so instead of fighting, both sides should be working for cohabitation, and I agree that it is one sided in the sense that Israel is the only entity looking for peace.

If you process it fully, both sides are not worth your time. They are fighting over claims to land. It does not matter what people label soil, either Israel or Palestine.

I blame imperialism and religion, which are the true evils here and the roots of the problem.

I don't want to defend Israel, I just want to dispel the idea that Palestinians are the only victims and that Israel is some evil killing machine.

Hey, I have a sincere question I would like to ask you. What makes the Palestinian side of the recent conflicts more just? The Israeli government and Hamas religious based radicalism are both evils. No side is more just than the other. The militants throughout Gaza have supported suicide bombing and children being matrys for decades and Israel is the evil? Israel is merely doing what any government would do, it is not right, but expected. It is just all around idiocy fighting for such worthless reasons.
