A few people have asked me, "What are the meanings of the chants?" "Are you chanting to a deity?" The answer: There is no deity but Love. The meaning of all the chants is contained in the feeling with which you listen and sing. That said, the words in these chants are of Sanskrit origin and represent the different qualities of God, but the only deity is the Love within your own heart. What are the meanings of the chants? Let me answer that with a question: What is the meaning of a Mozart piano concerto or a Jerry Garcia guitar solo or a beautiful golden sunset? The meaning is contained in your own heart.
