Formed in winter of 1997 to obtain free beer and bbq from the annual Christmas party of Dallas music outlet and ardent supporter, Crystal Clear Sound, fruitCake-superBeing is quietly establishing themselves as a hiccup in the local rock and roll scene.

An ode to blues, rock, electronica, dance, and hip hop fruitcake-superbeing is a melting pot of those genres using drum loops, samples, guitar, bass, live drums, harmonica, keyboards, and energetic vocals to style their sound.

Lyrically fruitcake preaches the 3rd person view of everyday life with the stamina and persona of the holiest of Baptist preachers. Superbeing's tailored blues riffs take traditional guitar chords on a new revolution while creating the simplest of hookable melodies. Sonically fruitcake-superbeing shakes hands with electronica dance and hip hop allowing dash (-) to keep the limpest bodies in constant motion.

Their music has been called everything from Krunk Rock to Electronically Challenged Blues Hop From Texas (a moniker the band bestowed upon themselves).
